OK, news from the kaiju on the Hudson.

1. apparently I'm not the only "monster" on or in the Hudson (in because I do have to bath ya know). According to a mural in the town of Poughkeepsie there a river serpent that lives in the river; supposedly a big ass one at that. The mural depicts a creature with a long water wyrmish body and a head that suspiciously looks like thatof a sturgeon.
Sturegon- N. an exceptionally large freshwater fish that produces caviar and is ugly as hell.
Not suprising since this fish species was about as common here in the old old days (pre1980) but this makes me feel a bit red since I'm not the only feared big critter in the region. I MUST HUNT DOWN THIS FISHY AND TAKE IT'S CROWN! >.=.<

2. Commissions: Becky B (done and on my FA apge) TF is on indefinate hiatus until I figure out who the hell I was to do it for Rayteh/Rose is.... getting on it nowish.

3. I still need to get a life. if anyone sees an ad for a life on the cheap (hell even preowned at this point) notify me at once!

4. On a completely separate issue I'd debating about how abouts I'm gonna plan my trip to Anthrocon next year. I'm debating whether or not getting a double soon and seeing if I can sell out the other side for anyone else traveling solo.

Been busy with the first project for a few weeks now getting in a couple hours a day of putzing around playing with tools and filters, inbetween class and Half-Life2. Will get on the next two within the week, that is depending on how much cramming I need to do for my final this week.

Just to note that all these projects are on my mind and the only real thing keeping me from proceeding is my computer. YES I KNOW, this excuse is more or less a "dog ate my homework" type of BS but this time it really is the laptop. Oooohhh... I love viruses and my quirky verson of photoshopCS. God I swear this is the third time I've had to start from scratch on inking things in photoshop. I'm not sure if there's an aroura of evil techoogy voodoo-make-the-computer-splode thing around me of if there is some higher (possibly a HELL of a lot lower?) force making things complicated for me.
